What is PCM:
The Process Communication Model is a complete tool kit for managing communication. Based upon an award winning theory and developed for use by NASA in Astronaut selection and team building, this model has been extensively used in the USA and in mainland Europe. It is now being launched in the UK. With PCM we do not talk about Personality Types of people but types in people. There are six basic types and we all have some of each type within us, the skill it to know how to ‘use’ these different types to become flexible in your style of communication and management.
PCM differs from other models in that it is predicts behaviour and provides solutions for managing distress, motivation and effective communication. The PCM profile has been rigorously researched and validated and staff can be taught how to apply the principles in just a few days. Utilising PCM you will be able to tailor your communication to match the style of the person you wish to communicate with. In this way your message will be heard ‘loud and clear’.
Get to grips with the fundamentals of PCM by joining this introductory workshop.
The three-day course will provide you with a useful overview of how to introduce the PCM model to your working environment. By the end of the workshop you will be able to successfully apply the methods and use your new communication skills to make a positive impact upon your business results.
